As we begin our fifth year at CloudBackers, we’d first like to thank each of our 65 customers for their business and for their trust. Without you we’d still be focused on quarterly results and “liquidity events” versus being useful and helpful. It has truly been an honor to be of service to you all. We are more committed than ever in our mission to provide cloud based data backup/disaster recovery, cyber security and telecom services to our customers-large and small.

It’s All About Partnerships

We are also thankful for our partnerships. Each of our provider partners has been instrumental in our success. Our partnership with Telarus has blossomed over the past couple of years and their support in helping us provide cost effective network and cloud phone system options to our customers has been a joy. We recently returned from the annual Sophos Partner’s Conference and are bullish on the Sophos approach to the exponentially growing problem of maintaining information security. Their ecosystem with firewall, endpoint security and encryption is differentiating and their new product InterceptX is groundbreaking.

Code42’s CrashPlan continues to be popular with our customers who use it for unlimited end point backup and we’ve heard many stories from customers who’ve told us that it has saved their day and their data. We are grateful to our friends at NewCloud Networks and CorKat for the custom backup/disaster recovery and virtual private cloud services that they provide to our customers who need these critical functions. Finally we couldn’t be more thrilled with our latest partnership with SkyTech Data Solutions. SkyTech’s customer focus aligns perfectly with CloudBackers. When our customers need hardware from Dell/EMC and their technology partners we know that SkyTech will give them a fast, fair quote and ensure each customer gets exactly what they need. 2016 was a big year for us and we thank you all for your support and guidance.

Things That Matter

As we continue our journey we pledge to remain focused on being a trustworthy vendor and partner. We also will continue to expand our efforts on being good citizens. As many of you know, last year Duane was able to begin a longstanding goal to become a Command Mission Pilot for AngelFlight. Each flight has made him feel appreciated and useful and he intends to continue this worthwhile effort for the rest of his flying career. We will continue to support the Women’s Bean Project and others like it because much will be required of everyone who has been given much.
